# Address migration

Since X1 is SVM miners have to map their EVM address used for mining XenBlocks to an SVM address. This process involves simply connecting to the address migration site with your EVM wallet and submitting your SVM address.

## 1. Go to address migration site

## 2. Connect EVM wallet

Connect with the EVM wallet you mined XenBlocks with.

## 3. Submit SVM address

Enter your SVM address and hit submit. This action will not generate a transaction or ask you for fees. It will simply ask you to sign a message which will verify the ownership of your address.

## 4. Verify submission to ledger

Check that your EVM address matches your SVM address.

On the [**leaderboard**](https://explorer.xenblocks.io/leaderboard) your addresses will also show as mapped.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.xenblocks.io/mining/add-network/address-migration.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
